Very nice bag that I will be using as a personal item bag on the airplane. It should fit nicely under the seat as long as you don't pack it too full. Opens like a suitcase and has lots of pockets to organize essential items including a smaller purse. Along with my carryon this will work great without lugging a big check-in bag even for a one or two week trip. I'm excited to plan my next trip!

Quality and functionality! This bag is very spacious and holds up well when stuffed. It can be used as a personal item but it can be a little heavy.

This is a great, well-designed bag. It seems sturdy with good zippers and good pockets. I'm amazed that there is so much space in a personal size bag.I put 3 pairs of pants, 2 tees, 2 light sweaters, pajamas, 5 pairs of socks and undies (all without any compression bag) and there was still plenty of room.I can wait for my next trip. I'm planning on taking just this. Granted, I don't have a makeup bag and usually only take 2 pair of shoes (one wearing, one packed), but I think a week is easily doable if you're not a heavy packer.

This bag fits so many things. Lightweight and durable. Perfect for personal size item for a plane. The storage compartments and pockets are great. It’s easy to use and the zipper quality is good. Definitely worth the price.

This bag is like adding 2 days worth of capacity to a suitcase. It fits a ton, so it can get heavy, but it sits on top of a roller bag easily, so no need to carry alone. It has two separate compartments, which is great to organize what you might need for a flight versus what you will need later in the trip. It is helpful that the bag opens both completely flat, and then on just one side accessed by a zipper compartment while upright, for easy access to day items. We purchased for three members of our family, in different colors and fabrics. The shiny fabrics were quite stylish and durable. The value is incredible, something like this from a bigger name is unto 7-8 times the price and the quality difference is marginal.

I have recently found the BAGSMART brand and I’m OBSESSED. The brand offers great quality for a reasonable price. This bag does NOT disappoint. It holds so much and the zippers are smooth.The measurements also are approved for the stricter airlines for my personal item. I’ve got it all packed up for my trip., and there is still lots of room for souvenirs.

Surprisingly roomy and well organized, this bag is the perfect size for qualification as a "personal item" for both Spirit and Frontier airlines. When fully packed, it fits into the airline baggage sizer boxes like a glove, providing the maximum amount of space to carry stuff while still qualifying as a personal item. Description says "for women" but I can't see why - this bag is appropriate for men as well. Convenient strap makes the bag easy to carry, and when carefully packed, it holds quite a lot. Inside there are sections to enable the traveler to keep things sorted. All around, it's a great bag for those who travel on Spirit or Frontier.Just one caution, though. If you overstuff the bag, there is a possibility that it might not fit the sizers, but it's pliable enough so that you can often squish it right in, even if it's a bit overpacked.Happy travels!

I love this bag and have used it on several trips as my carry on. It keeps me very organized and I can fit a tremendous amount, including my medicines, ipad, several changes of clothes. The handle sleeve makes it easy to slip onto my roller bag and because its soft sided it fits in the overhead really easily, and stores away inside my roller bag. I checked it on my way back from New Zealand and it came out unscathed. You can lock it as well which is nice.

I originally bought this for my mom because she needed a bag that would slip over the handle of her suitcase. She raved so much about it that I bought one for myself. It is the ideal size and holds quite a bit. It’s perfect for a weekend trip, or as a carry-on to supplement a checked bag. The compartments are well thought out and I like that I can slip it over my suitcase handle. The material is sturdy and the colors are nice. Good value for the money.

I was looking for a bag similar to the one in the ads "bento bag" by Nomad Lane that opens like a suitcase. This one is a great buy!Pros:Price point is great. Opens like a suitcase making it easier to pack items. Really does fit under plane seats as long as it isn't overpacked/stuffed. I used packing cubes with it and it worked even better. Love that this has a front pocket that opens wide. And this has what the other $170+ bag doesn't have: side water bottle pockets!Cons:As others have said, the material is kind of cheap, especially on the inside. The long strap is not so great/I plan to replace it with a sturdier, nicer looking strap. The zipper on the front pocket isn't a double zipper like all of the other pockets, so if you're not careful to zip it closed, it might be easy for items to fall out.Overall, this is the best alternative I've seen so far here on Amazon, and at only ~$35, if a better one comes along, I would still be willing to try it as well without feeling as though I'd wasted $ on the purchase. I highly recommend this especially if you're looking for a bento bag alternative The price point plus the features is what gives it the five stars for me!

This bag exceeded my expectations, as it is the perfect size, lightweight, and easily accessible. I have a few personal size bags already, but they are either the wrong size, awkward to carry, or don’t have the sleeve that slides onto my rolled carry on. I was looking for a bag that zipped all the way around the side and opened like a suitcase instead of the opening at the top. This bag has both. It also has side bottle holders, which was a bonus, because the description didn’t mention that, and I couldn’t tell from the photos. It looks like it will hold up well, nice heavy duty zippers. It is a functional as well as beautiful bag. I was thinking of ordering another one but shortly after I received it, the price went up by $10. It is still worth it at the increased price.

Took this on a recent flight and had no issues whatsoever. It did not get stained, it held 5 outfits plus extras. Plenty of pockets to store things, the padding was great, was able to pack a small console without damage. The bright pink color made it easy to spot in overhead bins. Carrying it was also made easy with the shoulder strap. Very, very happy with this perchase!

I could not be happier with my purchase. I have been on the hunt for the perfect, affordable personal item bag for months and after finding lots of name brands that were great but not in my budget, and trying several that were good, but not quite right this is the one!If you’re a researcher like me, and you’re looking for a less expensive alternative to some popular name brand bags, I think this could be most closely compared to the old version (vs the 2023 version) of the Bento bag.Now obviously the Bento bag is nicer and has a few features that this one doesn’t but at $38 vs. $350 I’m okay with that.This bag should fit under most airline seats, has two deep water bottle pockets, a clamshell opening like a suitcase, a padded compartment for a laptop and a large tablet with both sides having top openings access for when you’re on the go. It also has a large pocket in front that should easily accommodate most items you’d need in flight and the trolley sleeve has a zippered pocket that is the perfect size for your ticket, passport and phone!

Love this travel tote. Got the pink one for myself and a black one for my husband. The only drawback is with the lighter pink color you will need a bit of vigilence to spot clean the occasional scuff or dirt from travel. This tote can open as a tote or has the option to open like a suitcase, allowing access to your items more easily. It also has a padded area for a laptop, iPad or anything else that might need some extra protection, as well as a clear separate pouch for toiletries or makeup.Included is a seperat drawstring bag for a pair of shoes or your hairdryer and accessories. I can see where this could be used soley as an overnight or weekender bag. It can also be used as a gym bag or swim/beach bag. There is a side compartment with a key ring and slide pockets for ID, CC or Passport. The ends have pockets for small water bottles or other items and there is a shoulder strap included should you need your hands free. On the other side you will find another zippered compartment protected from the airline scanners for documents or cards. This side also has a slot for attaching your tote to the handle of your luggage should you need to. All in all a great bag that does more than expected!

Getting ready for a 10 day trip to Cali & this bag fits the criteria for a personal item on United. Not only does it fit on a carry on suitcase w/ wheels but also has compartments to hold pens, wallet, sanitizer, IDs/passport etc. Holds my MacBook pro plus compartments inside to hold chargers, and airbuds. It also has a separate inside pocket to hold toiletries. This bag also came with a drawstring bag to hold a pair of shoes or even undergarments. And enough room to hold a small purse and a compressed bag with 4-5 days worth of clothing ..along with a rolled up lightweight jogging jacket. I am excited to use this bag next week to see how well it holds up..definitely light weight and definitely do not recommend overstuffing...leave a very tiny amt of room in the bag so you won't struggle slipping the bag underneath the chair in front of you. Only minor flaw that many mentioned that it should have is the 4 tiny legs on the bottom of the bag which I think will be good for those who don't want to dirty the bag..but other than that I am super excited to use this bag that's all packed for Cali.😉
